A quiet beach house by the forest and fields with no neighbors.
We have bicycles, boats, canoes for rent. Our farm has 100 hectares of forest where you can move freely and collect berries and mushrooms.
Good fishing opportunities: Lake Simpele is deep and clean. A lot of zander and pike are caught in the lake. The crayfish descends along the Hiitola river into Lake Laatokka, which enables catching Laatokan salmon using the catch-and-release method.
In winter, it's nice to drill a hole in the ice and catch a perch, for example. Children can go down the hill on skis or a pole. There are good ski slopes nearby.
Willa Rautalahti is a well-equipped holiday home. Heat is produced ecologically with a ground source heat pump, which also enables affordable cooling in the summer if necessary. The house has air conditioning, dishwasher, satellite channels. of course, a private sauna and a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cabinet in the home care room. A separate beach sauna and rowing boat are included in the weekly rent. During the high season, we only rent for one week at a time, and the exchange day is Saturday.

Parikkala is located in Eastern Finland, Karelia. The nearest cities are Savonlinna, Kitee and Imatra. From Germany, you can get here via Helsinki from the airport by train or rental car, and by your own car via Via-Baltica or by car ferry from Travemunde, Stockholm or Tallinn.
We build the buildings from timber taken from our own forest. The buildings are heated by geothermal heat pumps, and the earth's circulation can be ecologically used for cooling in the summer as well. In winter, we also heat the fireplace and baking oven with firewood from our own forest.
